Dr. Shazi Hedayati, D.D.S.

Let me welcome you to our friendly dental practice in Sunnyvale, CA. 

My name is Dr. Shahrazar Hedayati, everyone likes to call me Dr. Shazi. I graduated from the University of Tehran as one of the top graduates, and I have been practicing dentistry in the California Bay Area for the last 26 years.

Over the years, I have been fortunate to know many patients and treat their dental needs.  I greatly enjoy knowing my patients and treating them as if they were family or friends. I care deeply for their concerns, and provide them with the care that is right for them.

The key to my success is the trust that I have earned from my patients. They trust my honesty and integrity. They trust my knowledge and experience, and they know I go out of my way to provide what is best for them.  

Safety of my patients is one of my top priorities. One of the measures I have taken is utilizing a digital imaging system which allows us to reduce the exposure to dental x-rays by one third.

Want to know more about me? I’m a very energetic and positive person. I enjoy road trips to national parks (especially when my husband drives!!), hiking, traveling overseas, spending time with my family, and did I mention shopping?

I have the most caring and service oriented staff who has been working with me for many years. For those apprehensive patients, my staff and I go the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable and that their visit is a positive experience while receiving quality dental care. I am experienced in the full range of dental procedures, and by taking many advanced continuing education courses I remain skilled in all aspects of the latest technology.

Luz is a graduate of Manila Dental School. She has been helping me with hygiene for the last 5 years. My patients love her gentle touch and warm smile.  Even the most apprehensive patients look forward to their routine dental care by Luz.

Lucy, Dental Assistant

Lucy has assisted me with my patients for over 18 years as an extended duty registered dental assistant with a coronal polishing license.  Lucy is also a mother of three wonderful children. She is my right hand person, and patients love her gentle touch. She is fantastic working with children!

Pam, Dental Assistant

Pam has assisted me for the past 11 years as an extended duty registered dental assistant with a coronal polishing license. Her attention to detail and her great sense of organization helps our office consistently exceed the high standards of infection control and OSHA requirements.

Carol, Front Office

Carol has been with me for 12 years. In addition to everything else that she does, Carol is in charge of our insurance and billing department . She makes your visit and your paperwork smooth and stress-free! She enjoys getting to know our patients on a personal basis.  She has a great sense of humor and makes the office environment a happy place to be. Carol is one of the originals in this office and many of our patients have known her for over forty years.

Sue, Front Office

Sue is the face behind the polite and smiley voice you hear over the phone. If you need to be seen, even on short notice,  she makes every effort to provide you an appointment that suits your needs! For the last 7 years, not only has she genuinely taken care of our patients, she has been extremely generous with the support and friendship she shares within the office.

Lynn, Front Office

Lynn has worked with me for the last 16 years. Today she is the mother of two boys and still finds time to help me in the front office. She is very friendly and over the years she has a great rapport with my patients.
